Welcome to the Ark

Ark Elementary School, together with our Noah’s Ark Preschool, is a non-denominational, Early Years specialist school, focused on meeting the unique social, emotional and academic foundational needs of learners from 2 1/2 to 12 years of age. We embrace the best of what is understood in Montessori, Reggio Emillia and Traditional educational pedagogies and practices, to create an authentically whole-child, family-centric approach to learning and development, while exceeding BC Ministry of Education curriculum outcomes.

The Annual Open House

Join us for the Ark Elementary School & Noah’s Ark Preschool annual OPEN HOUSE on Wednesday, January 21st, 2026 from 7-9 pm. This event is for September 2026 student registration and intake..

It is a good idea to read our extensive website content in advance to prepare yourselves and perhaps remind you of questions you may have wanted to ask. Attending this Open House is key to registration, as the school will give preference to applications from families who have attended this informative event. Keep in mind that this is a parent-only evening, so you may need to organize childcare.
